First of all enymes are Specific amino acid chains that catalyze chemical reactions in the body. They way that these PROTEINS are given their specific function is by the way they are structured. When our bodies digest proteins and enzymes it breaks apart these amino acid chains into individual amino acids where then it can build whatever the body wants. Here is a good analogy: We eat houses and break them down back into 2×4’s, sheets of plywood, bricks etc. so our body can build what it wants.
@yohan999 I think you should do your research! Enzymes are produced by our body and stored in case we need EXTRA enzymes to help with digestion. You need to have enzymes in your diet, if you do not get enzymes in your food you deplete your enzyme stores and you speed up the aging process and becoming more susceptible to disease and illness. Enzymes in our food are VERY important.

# 3 WRONG!!!! Enzymes in fruit serve the purpose of the fruit. The human body manufactures its OWN enzymes according to its own needs. There is no benefit to humans from consuming enzymes from fruits and vegetables. Do your research people!

yeah theres no way theres 11grams of fibre in a mcdonalds value meal.. there might be about 2grams

i use high glycemic fruit (such as watermelon and dates) about 30 minutes before my workout for energy and 30 minutes after for recovery. high glycemic doesnt necessarily mean bad but you have to regulate when you are planning to use your energy and when you plan to eat.
so if i eat bananas every day is dat bad
Fruit does give you a lot of energy.This morning I was in a rush and only had time to ahove a bannana, soy milk, and water down my throat. Suprisingly, with having gym first period in the morning I was full until lunch.
@zzajlatem9501 Fluoride is naturally occuring in some foods…just because a food has it does not mean they were “grown with fluoridated water”…when people talk about fluoride being bad, they are talking about when they add fluoride to the water supply to help people to not get cavities. What a great country we live in…instead of people just avoiding high sugar food that causes cavities, we pollute the collective water supply.

I agree about your veggies, but some of the world’s healthiest foods include fruit- acai, pomegranate, mangosteen, mulberries, blueberries, and strawberries are all packed with nutrients.
hot peppers are good for you unless you are sensitive to how spicy it can get, such as acid reflux. Cultures who are native to eating spicy foods usually have the easiest time with it. I would imagine that it takes getting used to. However, some good things about peppers is that they increase metabolism and they increase your pain threshold.
Natalie are hot peppers good or bad for you they are really colorful but i didnt know if they were hard on your body??

Apples don’t have vitamin D in them. And the rest of the vitamins in apples are only small quantities. Eat vegetables if you want to eat healthy.
