   The first real encounter with the Covenant was on Harvest in 2525. The battle for Reach was in 2552, about 27 years later.

    halo wars dosent go in the main time line it has a lot of problems with the other games like some vheicals dident exist back then that are in the game and the covent dident use that scarb moddel back then also the first flood where found on the halo ring master cheaf distroyed ….but the game still is fun

    i just got ODST i think it has a better campaign than any of the other Halo games i finished it on easy and im gonna go for Legendary next i also have gold membership but no wireless internet =’(

    No its a couple of weeks before Halo 1, Harvest was the first planet where they first fought the Covenant. so, Halo Wars, Halo CE, Halo 2, Halo 3 ODST and then Halo 3.

    this game takes place right when master chief goes to slip space and hits the halo ring so the covenant brung their best warriors with them an left the guyz that are lower ranks than grunts on earth so the eites didnt join our side but one part in the game you can hear buck says it looks like they were kiilled by brutes then dare said its classified because the elites got in contact with the humans an oni kees everything secret so yea they kinda joined our side but not yet

    i know a bunch of people are bitching about how short the campaign was, but i liked the ODST campaign a lot more than the Halo 3 one…having characters with personalities (and therefore ones you actually gave a crap about) made all the difference for me
